Cancellation Policy

Scheduling: Lessons are available by appointment only. You can book sessions through the website directly or preferred contact method. Regular weekly lessons are recommended for steady progress, but flexible scheduling is also available. All times are listed in your local time zone (please confirm when booking). Payment: Payments are made in advance. The 30-minute trial session is free for new students. Payment for regular sessions must be completed at least 24 hours before the lesson starts. Bundle options (e.g., 5-session packages) are available at discounted rates. Rescheduling & Canceling: You may reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before the lesson without any fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson will be counted as a completed session. If the tutor must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or a free reschedule. Lesson Format: Lessons are conducted online via Zoom. A stable internet connection is required. All lessons include bilingual explanations (English and Japanese). Student Expectation: Active participation is encouraged — feel free to ask questions in either English or Japanese. No need for prior English experience or fluency. All levels are encouraged! Be respectful so we can make the most of your learning time. Privacy & Safety: All student information and lesson content are kept confidential. Sessions may not be recorded or shared without prior permission from both the tutor and the student. Samurai Learner follows online safety and privacy standards for students. After each session, you’ll receive follow-up materials such as notes, vocabulary lists, or review problems. Agreement: By booking a lesson, you agree to follow the policies above. Our goal is to make every Samurai Learner experience fair, flexible, and motivating — for both students and teachers.
